And it&rsquo;s open-source!<br \/>\nI follow its development and I did a few things with it. Some are library integrations, other are \u00ab\u00a0toying\u00a0\u00bb projects.<\/p>\n<h2>C++ modules<\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Zylann\/godot_voxel\">Voxel tools<\/a>: a module to create Minecrafty worlds. It covers topics that are faster to deal with in C++ rather than scripts such as mesh generation and voxel storage.<br \/>\n&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Zylann\/godot_opensimplex\">OpenSimplex<\/a>: a patent-free noise library for Godot<br \/>\n&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Zylann\/godot_fastnoise\">FastNoise<\/a>: integration of the FastNoise library for Godot<\/p>\n<h2>Projects<\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Zylann\/voxelgame\">Voxel Game<\/a>: an attempt to recreate a Minecraft-like game with vanilla Godot (no modules). It will eventually branch in the future to become a testbed for my Voxel Tools module (because well&#8230; scripts are SLOW at this :p).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is Godot?
